What do you need? If you are a new client we would like your last 2 years of tax returns for review and comparison as well as your current year's documents. This includes but may not be limited to: W2s, last pay stub, 1099s, interest income statements, dividend statements, profit and loss statement for your business, student loan interest, mortgage interest, property tax statement, charitable contributions, verification of your dependents, unemployment income statement (form 1099G), etc. We also request your driver's license information. New requests for your 2025 tax return is your last pay stub to calculate overtime and tip income. If you purchased a brand new car in 2025, please provide the interest statement for the loan and vehicle identification number (VIN) to receive the new car vehicle interest credit.
How do you want me to get my documents to you? You get to decide which path you take...please take one and use that exclusively. We prepare hundreds of returns every year. You have one. As long as we receive your documents and you respond to our correspondences so we can finalize your return you can either mail, drop off, upload to the client portal, or schedule an appointment. Please select only one option to ensure we see all documents needed for your tax situation.
What do I do if I receive a letter from the IRS? Call or email the office to let us know. That's why we're here.
NO APPOINTMENT IS NEEDED FOR DROP OFF OR PICK UP during regular business hours.
If you have dropped off your documents and are waiting for them to be completed: upon completion we will call and let you know. At that time, we can send the documents for electronic signature, send them back to you via FedEx (shipping rates apply) for your review and signature or, you can to come to the office. When you arrive at the office come in to sign your efile signature pages and receive a copy of your tax returns and your original documents.
The federal deadline for filing and paying balances due is April 15, 2026.
January 26-April 15, 2026 Monday-Thursday 9am-6pm Saturday 10am-3pm.. Closed Sunday and Friday.
